Worship Set:
Deep Cries Out
Like a Lion
Our God
How Great Is Our God
How Great Thou Art

Offering: Jesus at the Center

Frontline:
Soprano: Minerva
Alto: Bonnie, Aida
Tenor: Russell

Colors: Your choice, stay within modesty guidelines

We have so many people out this week we will not be learning any new material.  (Minerva has also made herself available to sing on the frontline this week since we need some extra help. Thank you, Minnie!)

Just a re-cap of what I shared on Sunday at rehearsal for those who may have missed it:

We are down a few members on the frontline for the summer. Minerva will be out until her schooling is finished. She will still sing in choir and be there for services, but not attend early rehearsal while she's in school. She is also helping us out in a pinch this week, which is greatly appreciated.

Suzanne is traveling a lot this summer as well as launching a new business and will be taking the summer off from the Frontline but will be returning as soon as school starts back up.  We look forward to having her back with us! She's graciously also agreed in the meantime to help us in a pinch on the weekends that she and Mac are not traveling.

With two members out on the frontline this summer, and most of us taking vacations at some point, communication in advance is even more important!

Unless it is a case of emergency at the last minute (sickness, last minute called into work, etc.) please let me know ASAP when you are going to be missing.  Every team member is important, and every team member has an effect on what we are able to do or not do for any given Sunday. It's really important unless it's an emergency that I know by Thursday morning so that I can rearrange everything and re-do the charts and books if need be.  (My day off is Friday.) If your absence is not an emergency and I find out at the last minute it basically means I don't take a day off that week, or things get thrown together at the last minute. Neither option is preferable for my health, for the church's health, or for our team's health.

So, what I'm asking is that if you know you are going to be absent in advance, please let me know preferably in writing (by email, Facebook, text, etc.) as soon as you know you're going to be out any given week. I ask for it in writing simply because I have so much that I'm responsible for during service time or rehearsal time that if you tell me then it's very likely I'm going to forget. If you give it to me during the week in writing I put it on my calendar that you are going to be out, and remember as I am putting together worship service orders.

Thanks in advance for your help with this as it helps in so many areas!

Thank you also for your continued dedication to Celebration Worship Ministries.

A few other things --

  • Our new set up absolutely rocks...I am totally loving it!
  • Our sound Sunday was superb. Outstanding.
  • Rehearsal has been a great experience the past two Sundays. Thank you working together as we have been at a new level.

You're appreciated and you are loved.
