Just a reminder that this week is "bring a friend to choir" week.  It's a time for them to check out what we're about and see if our team is for them.  This includes the choir lunch however they must stay and participate in rehearsal if they are staying for lunch.  It's a covered dish lunch - your choice of what to bring but I do need you to email Candy to tell her what you are bringing.   We need to make sure we have a good variety - and PLEASE BE GENEROUS with what you bring so there's enough for all.  Also, bring a 2-liter beverage to share.

You are all loved and appreciated...

Sunday Morning Set
August 15

Worship Set:
Today is the Day
I Am Free
I Give Myself Away
The More I Seek You

Choir Song:  Revelation Song

This week we are doing a new song, "Today is the Day" by Lincoln Brewster.  You can find it in the post in the video below with lyrics.  Please come prepared and be as early as possible, choir members, so that you can go over it with the band and frontline several times.

Colors:  Your choice

Also FYI, the first choir luncheon/rehearsal after the summer break is NEXT Sunday, August 22nd.  It's going to be "bring a friend to choir" day.  Please note this is not just "bring a friend to lunch" day -- they MUST stay for rehearsal and sit in on rehearsal if they are staying for lunch.  This will be a covered dish dinner lunch.  Please let Candy know what you will be bringing and every individual/family is also asked to bring a 2-liter to share.  Be generous with what you are bringing, please, so that there will be enough food for all.

Again, the luncheon is the 22nd, NOT this Sunday, please take careful note off this!!  Any questions, email me.

Why the lard photo, above right?  It just struck me funny, thought I would include it.  :)

New Song for Sunday 8/15:
Today is the Day

Here we go!
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh

I’m casting my cares aside
I’m leaving my past behind
I’m setting my heart and mind on You
Jesus

I’m reaching my hand to Yours
Believing there’s so much more
Knowing that all You have in store for me is good
Is good

Chorus:
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
And I won’t worry about tomorrow
I’m trusting in what You say
Today is the day
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
Today is the day
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh

I putting my fears aside
I’m leaving my doubts behind
I’m giving my hopes and dreams to You
Jesus

I’m reaching my hand to Yours
Believing there’s so much more
Knowing that all You have in store for me is good
Is good

Chorus again

(2x’s)
I will stand upon Your truth.
(I will stand upon Your truth)
And all my days I’ll live for You
(And all my days I’ll live for You)
