Sunday Morning, August 1

God has been doing amazing things in salvations, healings and more.  I can hardly wait to see what's going to happen next!

Sunday morning set:
Rise & Sing
Get Ready for Revival
Our God
Healer

Choir Song:  "I Give Myself Away"

Colors:  Your choice!

You all did a great job learning two new songs in one week last week.  I apologize for the stress in rehearsal of doing so.  From now on we'll only tackle one new number at a time.   But you did great.  We're going both songs again this week now that they are more solid.  Great response last week to both songs!

I love and appreciate all of you much.

Also - please listen to the new song I've posted below - "Lead me to the Cross."  We will be doing it in weeks upcoming, although we are not doing it this week, we may do it the second week in August and I want you to start to familiarize yourself with it.

Lead Me To the Cross

 Verse 1
Savior I come, quiet my soul remember
Redemption's hill where Your blood was spilled for my ransom

Everything I once held dear, I count it all as loss

Chorus
Lead me to the cross where Your love poured out
Bring me to my knees, Lord I lay me down
Rid me of myself I belong to You
Oh lead me, lead me to the cross

Verse 2
You were as I, tempted and tried, human
The Word became flesh, bore my sin in death, now You're risen

Everything I once held dear, I count it all as loss

Bridge
To Your heart
To Your heart
Lead me to Your Heart
Lead me to Your heart

Sunday, July 25th

We've got A LOT of new material to learn on Sunday.  God willing we're going to pull TWO new songs (videos and lyrics to BOTH found in blog posts below.)  We will do one for worship and one for offering.  The sooner we get started with rehearsal on Sunday AM the better.  We need all hands on deck as early as possible.  Here's what's up:

Worship Set:
God is Great
Our God
How Great is Our God
How Great Thou Art

Offering:  I Give Myself Away

Colors:  Your choice

It was another great day Sunday and we had two more salvations in the house.  God is so good.  Please join with us in prayer this week, and fasting if you are able at least for one meal.  Also remember we have prayer meetings on Wednesday night at 6 pm, and Thursday morning at 11 am.  God moves mightily in our prayer meetings there as well as we seek him.  What a report this past Sunday about Mary Ann Shaffer!!!  God is so good.  Prayer works.

Love and appreciate you all...

I Give Myself Away

We're doing this one for the offertory this week, God willing...so please learn it as much as possible before Sunday's rehearsal.  We will have two new songs this week, ("Our God" - posted below - and this one), so  let's get there on time and get to it!

I Give Myself Away

Chorus:
I give myself away
I give myself away
So You can use me
I give myself away
I give myself away
So You can use me

Verse 1:
Here I am
Here I stand
Lord, my life is in your hands
Lord, I’m longing to see
Your desires revealed in me
I give myself away

Verse 2:
Take my heart
Take my life
As a living sacrifice
All my dreams all my plans
Lord I place them in your hands

Bridge:
My life is not my own
To you I belong
I give myself, I give myself to you

New song:
Our God

Verse 1:
Water you turned into wine
opened the eyes of the blind
There's no one like You, None like You

Verse 2:
Into the darkness You shine
Out of the ashes we rise
There's no one like You, none like You

Chorus:
Our God is Greater
Our God is Stronger
God You are Higher than any other
Our God is healer
Awesome in power
Our God, our God

Bridge:
And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us
And if our God is with us, then what could stand against...
(repeat)
what could stand against?

Sunday, July 11

Wow!  Last week's service was AMAZING!   It's been raining everyday in the natural, but the Holy Spirit has also been sending the rain of His spirit in the church.  Salvation was in the house, new families were in the house, God's presence made all things possible.  Will you please join us in prayer (and add some fasting too) for another great week?  Summertime doesn't have to be slow in the house of God.  Yes, we can have families on vacation each week but it doesn't mean that what goes on back home has to come to a halt.  God is moving each week at CC.

This Friday is prayer and pancakes - DON'T FORGET!  The band and frontline are needed the whole time, from 11 pm - 1 am.  It's going to be a blast.  I'm not going to put the line up here -- it's everything you already know.

Sunday Morning Set:
Again I Say Rejoice
Freedom
Freedom Reigns
At the Cross (I bow my knee...)

Choir Song:  We will sing "How Precious is the Blood" for communion

Colors:  Lately we've been doing "your choice" most Sunday AM's...let's do a color coordination this week and make plans to be extra sharp!  How about black and white?

I am challenging you all to INVITE A FRIEND this week and EXPECT MIRACLES.

Speaking of miracles let's believe for them for choir members who have been sick or in pain:  Juleen Stramiello, Bonnie Stewart, Susan Lilly, and Jim Shehan.
