This Sunday is choir lunch and practice!  Theme:  ITALIAN!  Email Candy ASAP to tell her what you are bringing.  Everyone needs to bring a dish to share PLUS a 2-liter beverage.  Remember - if there are any issues (financial, etc.) with you bringing something to share, privately let me know - we will work things out.  We just need to know how to plan.  Thanks for your help.

You are to have the FIRST TWO songs in the Easter book rehearsed with your CD's and ready to practice that day at rehearsal.  We have A LOT of work to do to be ready for the musical on Easter which is April 24.

Thanks for a great day Sunday!  You had  your game on!!!  God showed up!!!  Amazing things are happening and I can't wait to share more with you about what's around the corner.

** Just to give you a heads up for planning purposes -- next week on Superbowl Sunday, February 6, I want all of us including band, frontline and choir to wear FOOTBALL JERSEYS.  (We will wear these with PANTS of your choice.)  Wear your favorite team jersey.  If you don't have one, BORROW ONE.  No need to spend any money.  Just talk to a friend and get one on loan for the day.   I'm giving you an extra week to talk to whoever you need to talk to to borrow one.   If you don't have a favorite team, just do eenie-meenie-miney-mo, or you could just be anointed and pick the Steelers. :)

Welcome to all of our new team members!!!  It sure is exciting to see what God is doing.  I can't wait for this Sunday for all the new changes to roll out and see what God will do.  You guys are amazing.

It's very important that all members of CC worship ministries read this entire post to receive important information about the future.  (Just making sure those of you who click on just to get the "colors" for the week don't miss important info!)

First of all, GREAT JOB ON THE NEW SONG SUNDAY!!  SO MANY COMMENTS ABOUT THIS!  THE CHURCH LOVED IT.  It really became our anthem for the week.  Get ready to do it again this week!

Please note there will be a very important choir lunch and rehearsal on Sunday, January 16.  Your attendance is extremely important for this day as it will entail a lot more than just lunch or practice.  I will be going over some very important expectations for the entire team, as well as sharing about some future things.  You will be responsible for this information whether you make the rehearsal or not, so please make every effort to be there.  We will be having worship ministries contracts for the 2011 year.  They will be expected to be signed by February 1st, for all new members, or for current members continued participation on the team.  The contract will be an agreement of all things contained in the Expectations for Excellence manual (which all team members already received upon joining the team) PLUS new information shared at the January 16 meeting.

This meeting/rehearsal will go until at least 3:30 this time in order to accomplish everything we need to go over so please prepare for that.

You will need to connect with Candy regarding food for the luncheon.  Our theme for this luncheon will be SOUP AND SALAD.  Everyone in the choir is asked to bring a SOUP or a SALAD -- dessert will be covered otherwise.  We will be planning for VARIETIES of soup/salad so please let Candy know exactly what kind you would like to bring and this will be coordinated.

We are also getting ready to welcome some new members to our team, so get ready, get ready, get ready for amazing things in store in 2011!
