Sunday Morning, February 27 - updated Saturday night 11:39 PM

Photo from Sunday night ~ taken by Rachael Rice

** 11:39 Saturday evening, Due to unforseen circumstances - an absence I was unfortunately not made unaware of until almost midnight this evening, I am going to have to re-work the entire order of service for tomorrow.  I don't know what it will be yet.  You will find out in the morning.  I won't be done re-working it til very late. Please just come ready to roll with it. Be there on time, don't be late - we're gonna need every second to work it out.  And please still pray for my voice - not up to par yet.  Nothing will be the same except colors are your choice.  Thanks ~pd

Wow!!

You guys did amazing on Sunday, both services.  I watched you by Webcam on Sunday night from my bed.  Eddie was kind enough to set that up.  I am still battling the flu as of today, Tuesday.  The headache, nausea, fever and chills are GONE however I am still dealing with sore throat, bad cough, laryngitis and congestion.  I thank you for your prayers.  I am home resting as much as possible.  Somehow I made it through that Sunday morning service and then went home and crashed and have remained here.  You guys did AMAZING with helping me to re-structure Sunday morning set as well as Dustin leading and you guys following just amazingly on Sunday night.  Thank you for being such a flexible team that gets the job done no matter what!

Services with Fred Felton were just incredible.  He'll be coming back for sure.  More than that, the FIRE that is burning in this church will remain as it has been building these past months and it's only getting more incredible.  Get ready for what God will do this coming week!!  I'm so excited.  Keep reading for lots more info.  But first...

Sunday morning set:
Get Ready for Revival
I am Free
Our God
How Great is Our God/How Great Thou Art

Offering:  Wrap Me In Your Arms

Colors:  Your choice - just be within modesty guidelines!!!

Remember that this week after service we have choir rehearsal for the Easter Musical.  Lunch will be "on your own" either bring a bag or go somewhere quick and come back.  Rehearsal will start at 1:45 pm and last until 3 pm.  You need to have the FIRST SIX SONGS IN THE BOOK ready to go.  You're doing great so far.

Remember a few weeks ago I wanted  you to be super sharp - ready - and sent you an email about it?  Well, your efforts are/were appreciated and the ball is still in play!  I'll give you more info as I have it.  I love you all and am very grateful for you.

Thanks for your prayers that I be back to my "A game" by Sunday.  Also be in prayer for our other team members to stay healthy and strong, for surely God is moving and we need our whole team on deck as much as possible.

Love you~

Just a reminder that our next AFTERNOON rehearsal is Sunday, February 27, and you are to have the next 2 songs in the Easter book ready to roll!  Keep listening those CD's and eating them. This will bring us to the first 6 songs in the book, COMPLETED.  Lunch will be bag lunch or on your own to quickly pick something up and get back to the church by 1:45 pm.  Please mark this rehearsal date on your calendar and be there, ready to get it done!

This past week you did an amazing job and I am so proud of all of you.  We are in the midst of our next level!  It's just going to increase.  Be prepared in prayer and come ready expecting and with a great attitude, ready to serve.

Sunday, February 13

Sunday was...in one word...AMAZING.

You guys are uninhibited, free and ON FIRE.  We're on the verge of an absolute explosion.  Guys, I can't even tell you for many reasons how important this Sunday is.  There are a few things I cannot detail here on the blog... I am sending an e-mail by Tuesday night to choir members concerning this Sunday.  PLEASE CHECK YOUR E-MAIL BOXES.  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!  If you do not get an email from me, contact me personally.

Please give very special attention to everything I'm about to tell you for this week.  We need to be sharp as a tack!!!  This will be one of the most important weeks we have ever had at CC.

Sunday, February 6

 Worship Set:
Freedom
Dancing Generation
Kingdom Come
Our God

Choir Song/Offering:  "The Church"

We will also learn another new song by Elevation Church called, "Your Favor".  There is no video available for this but for those of you who have Elevation's "Kingdom Come" CD you will know this song. Because there's no video for you to learn it before hand I'm not going to schedule this on the worship set or offering this week -- we will just learn it at rehearsal and prep for the next week.  If you want to have the lyrics beforehand you can go here and click on the "Resources" tab, then click chord charts and lyrics and you'll see the song, "Your Favor" there and you can print it out.  We'll do it in the same key they do - D.

Clothes/Colors this week are:  FOOTBALL JERSEYS - your choice of team/color.  If you don't have an actual jersey just wear the colors of your favorite team.  I don't want anyone to have to purchase anything for this day.  Either borrow a jersey or just wear the team colors.  To clarify - these don't have to be from one of the two teams in the Superbowl!  It's ANY team of YOUR CHOICE.

Come prepared (prayed up!) for a great day!!!  God is taking us to new levels.  Amazing new people are being added to the CC family.  Souls are being saved.  Lives are being changed.  Love and unity is flowing in this family.  I am blessed to be a part of it.

Also don't forget this week is ANOTHER AFTER CHURCH REHEARSAL!!!  This week is "pack your own lunch" or go QUICKLY to get lunch somewhere.  Be back at rehearsal by 1:30.  We will rehearse until 3 pm.  I will let you go PROMPTLY at that time so you can enjoy Superbowl festivities of your choice.   I need you to have the next two songs in the Easter musical ready to rehearse on Sunday.  Come prepared!!!  This means we will be finished with the FIRST FOUR SONGS IN THE BOOK on Sunday.  We are moving ahead rapidly in getting things ready to go for a spectacular Easter outreach.  Last week you guys absolutely killed it!  Amazingly smooth rehearsal.  You were ready and rockin'!  Let's do it again this week.  Working together like this, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.  Really.  Anything!

Let's remember our vision for 2011~~~ we are well on our way with souls saved last week..and new people brought into the CC family as well.  Let's bring them in and pray them in.
