Sunday, February 28

Mike and "the Munchkin" as he calls him, during choir practice this week.  So precious.  It was funny to see everyone in the choir run off the stage and circle around them and stare for a few minutes afterwards, in awe of the scene.  So funny!

What's happening this week...

Praise and Worship:
Again I Say Rejoice
Say So
Wrap Me In Your Arms
How He Loves

Choir Song:  "Give Him the Praise"

Colors:  Black and Gray/Silver  (if you don't have gray or silver, wear all black)

Thanks so much for your support of last week's fundraiser.  We raised $310.  A little bit more and the projector will be ready to go up on the back wall.

We are continuing with fundraisers for more projects including more wireless microphones, and new drum set among other things.  Thank you for your help in pressing forward to reach our goals.

We will have choir again on March 7.  I am not sure about what we are doing for lunch yet - I will be announcing this on Sunday.  Stay tuned.

Also, WELCOME NAOMI CLOWES TO THE CHOIR AND TO THE FRONTLINE!  We are so blessed to have Naomi as part of our team.  She is a graduate of Southeastern University -- a music major who will be teaching in the public school system as a music teacher.

I love and appreciate you all...you are truly the heart of Celebration Church.

Sunday, February 7

Hey team ~ FANTASTIC JOB last Sunday on launch day.  I am absolutely delighted about how easily and quickly we adapted with our new equipment.  I have a BIG SURPRISE for you this coming week, to announce and I guarantee you are going to be extremely happy about it.  Can't wait to share with you about our new level!

Sunday morning worship line up is as follows:

Freedom (I wanna clap a little louder)
I am Free
Freedom Reigns
God of This City

Choir Song is:  "Lord We Give You Glory"

IT'S SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!!!  THIS WEEK THE DRESS CODE IS JEANS AND YOUR FAVORITE FOOTBALL TEAM'S JERSEY OR T-SHIRT!!!!  If you don't have one, please do not feel that you need to purchase one.  You may borrow one from someone else, or, just wear your team's COLORS.  You DO NOT need to spend money on this, and I want everyone to participate even if you do not have a team jersey, just improvise and wear the colors.  One suggestion I do have for those who might want to try to get one if you don't have one is, try the thift store (Goodwill, etc.)  I get many things there myself and it's one of my favorite places to shop.  We have gotten quite a number of our Steelers jerseys and t-shirts there.   If you have any questions, see me.

This week is also the Superbowl Party which you are also invited to wear your jersey as well as participate in the chili or dessert contests.  It's going to be great.  PLEASE INVITE LOTS OF PEOPLE.  We are headed to the next level with CELEBRATION CHURCH!!!

I love and appreciate you all.
