Just a reminder that this week is "Get Your Hour Back" Sunday and we will be starting service at 11:30. We will have rehearsal at 10:00.

We have breakfast in the sanctuary as well as service. It's a potluck, so bring something to share.

And most important, invite a friend! It's going to be a great week at CC!

Just a note that faithfulness and dedication is never overlooked -- by me, or the Lord.

You guys did a great job on Be Lifted Higher. We need to polish it this week. It went by so quick last week, I could tell the congregation was having a hard time keeping up. We will keep repeating and let them "get it". I would like you all to please go over it as many times as possible this week, listening to it. You can find it below in the other posts here.

It's so good to have Josie and Christina join us the past two weeks. We are blessed!

Can't wait to see what the Lord does in the upcoming weeks, specifically as we prepare for the Inner Healing Conference. This could also be called a "worship weekend" as worship will have so much to do with what happens!! Please remember to officially register (with Savanna) and invite as many friends to participate as you can. This is going to be a life changing weekend in the presence of God.

I love all of you, so very much...

New Song: Be Lifted Higher (Gateway)

(We will do this song in C - original key is Bb so it will be a half step higher.)

Verse 1

As Your people we won't be silent
We're gonna shout about ev'rything You are
Ev'rything You are
As Your people we'll stand unshaken
No matter what the world could ever throw our way
We'll never be ashamed

Chorus 1
When You speak You turn the hardest hearts to song
Now we sing because our vict'ry has been won
Your name be lifted higher
Your name be lifted higher
Be lifted higher

Verse 2
You're the answer to our world's questions
You're the reason that creation came to life
Standing in Your light
You're alive and ev'ryone will see You
You speak a word and hopeless hearts will beat again
In grace that never ends

Misc 1
(Bridge)
You are our God and we are Yours
Our hearts respond 'cause You are good
And nothing's gonna separate us
Nothing's ever gonna separate us
Now we declare the pow'r of God
Our freedom is living in Your love
And nothing's gonna separate us
Nothing's ever gonna separate us

Chorus 2
When You speak You turn the hardest hearts to song
Now we sing because our vict'ry has been won
Your name be lifted higher
Your name be lifted higher
When You died and came to life the work was done
Now there's nothing that can keep us from this love
Your name be lifted higher
Your name be lifted higher

Misc 2
(Ending)
Be lifted higher
Be lifted higher
Be lifted higher

We are doing a new song this week - "Alive" - Hillsong Young and Free. Please listen to it A LOT. We will need A LOT of work on this to have it ready for Sunday morning. I need you to memorize it, listen to it constantly between now and then. We may not have all the bells and whistles - effects - to do this song like they do - BUT -- we will use what we DO HAVE! It's a great song and we can make it ours.

We will do it in the key of G.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Love and appreciate you all!
