Sunday, May 20

This week is our Pen-Florida district council and I'm away in Ormond Beach Monday through Thursday for that purpose. Although in business meetings and such all week, we also have services and I'm looking forward to spending time in God's presence, away from home for a few days. I look forward to being back with you on Sunday! Keep us in prayer during our time away this week. Here's what's happening on Sunday:

Keep our Sunday service in prayer and let's believe for great things.

Sunday, May 13

Great job on "One Thing Remains" last week! They "got it" from week one. I like this idea of introducing things during the offering. May try this more in the future. I believe they will really be ready for us this week.

Let's keep the service in prayer and believe for big things!

Sunday, May 6

Fantastic service Sunday! Two salvations and reports of miracle healings still rolling in.  I believe we're headed for a new level this week! We've also got some new material going on.

We're learning a song that is familiar to many of you, and brand new to others. It's called "One Thing Remains" (Your Love Never Fails). Please listen to it a lot over the next few days.  I've posted it below. Just FYI FOR THE BAND -- WE WILL DO IT IN THE KEY OF "C". I will email you a chart if you request one ahead of time. And, extras are available after Wednesday night service, on the folder on the platform if you want to grab one.

Also, please listen to "Like a Lion" again. We did it for the first time three weeks ago. It went well, but it needs to be polished a lot more.

Here is the line up for Sunday:

Again I Say Rejoice
Like a Lion
Give Me Faith
How He Loves

Offering: One Thing Remains

The goal is to have the new song ready for us to introduce during the offering time. If we don't get started on time or have full cooperation to accomplish the goal, I will just play the keyboard for offering. That said, let's get there on time, get started and go for the goal!

Colors: Your choice, stay within platform guidelines

Frontline:
Soprano: Minerva, Naomi
Alto: Suzanne, Aida
Tenor: Epi, Russell

Thanks for all you do! Let's fast and pray and believe for greater things this week.

Love you,

Sunday, April 22

Sunday is Youth Day and Refuge Youth Ministries will be leading the service. This means our Sunday choir, frontline, etc. will not be needed this coming Sunday morning on the stage, or for rehearsal prior to service. BUT... (huge BUT ahead...)

This is NOT a weekend off from church!

We do have Christian Education at 9:30 and service at 10:30 and you do not want to miss what God will do. Refuge youth band will lead worship and they will share their fine arts presentations.

It's going to be a powerful day!!!

We resume with our normal Sunday team on Sunday, April 29th.
