New Song:
Like a Lion

I heard this song recently in my travels when I was preaching at another church. I loved it and thought out team would too. I'm sure many of you might already know it. It's going to be a great one for us at CC!  Please note we will be doing this song in the key of C. ~ PD

LIKE A LION

Verse 1
Let love explode and bring the dead to life
A love so bold to see a revolution somehow
(REPEAT)

Pre-Chorus
Now I'm lost in Your freedom
Oh this world I'll overcome

Chorus
My God's not dead
He's surely alive
And He's living on the inside roaring like a lion
My God's not dead
He's surely alive
And He's living on the inside roaring like a lion

Verse 2
Let hope arise and make the darkness hide
My faith is dead I need a resurrection somehow
(REPEAT)

Pre-Chorus
Now I'm lost in Your freedom
Oh this world I'll overcome

Chorus
My God's not dead
He's surely alive
And He's living on the inside roaring like a lion
My God's not dead
He's surely alive
And He's living on the inside roaring like a lion
(Repeat)

INSTRUMENTAL BEFORE BRIDGE

BRIDGE
Let heaven roar and fire fall
Come shake the ground with the sound of revival
Let heaven roar and fire fall
Come shake the ground with the sound of revival
(REPEAT)

REPEAT CHORUS

Misc 4
(ENDING)
Oh He's surely alive
Oh He's surely alive
Oh He's surely alive
Oh He's surely alive
Oh He's surely alive yeah

We want to make sure everything is top notch for this day as it's Easter Sunday! We've got a full lineup of great songs celebrating His life! Most of it we are already very smooth on however there are definitely newer things we need to perfect such as Glorious Day and also the new song, You are Good by Bethel Church.

I realize there is no Christian Education Sunday, however there will be coffee and donuts served at 9:30 and folks start coming in at that time. We really need to have our rehearsal wrapped up at normal time.  This will be good not only so that we are  not pressed for time, but it will also give you time to eat breakfast in without rushing and also give time to connect with your friends who are coming and all of our first time guests before starting service.

Remember that more important than any music that we are doing Sunday is the mandate to invite, invite, invite. On Sunday, March 25 a lady visited the service who said she showed up because she had heard from friends that we were "the best kept secret"! We want the word to get out about what we have going on here EACH AND EVERY WEEK and the way to do that is to talk about it ourselves -- to invite, and to have a service on Sunday that is more closely aligned with what goes on around here weekly, not something totally different.

Please get invite cards to everyone that you know. Let's grow to the next level!

Love and appreciate you all,

Thanks in advance for your attention to detail -- frontline & band rehearsal is at 8:00 AM, with all choir members expected by 8:30 AM. On weeks we do new material, this is even more important to our success.

Please also remember our goals for Easter Sunday in ADVERTISING and INVITING. This year our goal is to get the word out about what goes on at CC each and every week!!!

Appreciate you all,

New Song:
You Are Good, Bethel Church

VERSE ONE
I want to scream it out
From every mountain top
Your goodness knows no bounds
Your goodness never stops
Your mercy follows me
Your kindness fills my life
Your Love amazes me

CHORUS
I sing because You are good
And I dance because You are good
And I shout because You are good
You are good to me to me

VERSE 2
Nothing and no one comes
Anywhere close to You
The earth and oceans deep
Only reflect this truth
And in my darkest night
You shine as bright as day
Your Love amazes me

BRIDGE
With a cry of praise my heart will proclaim
You are good You are good
In the Sun or rain my life celebrates
You are good You are good
With a cry of praise my heart will proclaim
You are good You are good
In the Sun or rain my life celebrates
You are good You are good

Sunday, March 25

What a great job you all did this past Sunday. I really appreciate everyone's cooperation. I was feeling so under the weather physically on Sunday, it was all I could do to stand. The support of the team in pulling together to get through rehearsal so well and do such a great job all day long is so appreciated.

This week we have some VERY special guests with us. They are Tom and Phyllis Benigas, former youth directors of Pen-Florida (for 24 years) and now missionaries to Europe. I have not planned any new material this week - I would like us to do some of our very best that we've been doing as far as worship goes. I will also be sending you a separate Facebook post concerning Easter, so get ready for that in the next few days. It will come by the end of the week.

Here's the plan for this week:

Worship Set:

Deep Cries Out
Say So
I'm Not Ashamed
You Are Good

Offering #1  "I Lift My Hands"
Offering #2  "How He Loves"

Colors: Jeans and Black Shirts

Frontline:
Soprano: Minerva, Ashley
Alto: Suzanne, Aida
Tenor: Epi, Russell

Thank you so much for your dedication, as well as your prayers for this week's service.

Love you all,
